May the 20th: International Clinical Trials Day
Image via Wikipedia
This is probably the first time you've heard about this important Day; sad to say, ECRIN aren't doing a lot to promote International Clinical Trials Day. And I have to be honest, the current image of the Day lacks friendliness, public appeal. It needs a mascot.
So, it is with great pleasure that I introduce to you...Clint, the Clinical Trials Guinea Pig!

And Clint already features in this range of high-quality promotional materials. Show you care, print them out and display them! Click on the images for the full-sized version.

I've already sent an email to Jacques Demotes-Mainard (the Programme Coordinator of ECRIN) and Christine Kubiak (the Executive Manager), offering the use of Clint free-of-charge to promote their important Day. I'll let you know the result as soon as I hear back. Sadly, there probably won't be time for them to produce a line of merchandise for this year's International Clinical Trials Day, but look out for Clint t-shirts, caps, cuddly toys and marital aids next year!
